My Property Vault, LLC ("My Property Vault," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
Your home-inventory data is sensitive, and we treat it that way. Your individual vault is private to you and the people you choose to share it with. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information. Email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.
- Your content. The information you add to your vault — property details and address, rooms, items and their descriptions, values, photos, receipts, warranties, appraisals, home-condition photos, heir and ownership assignments, and related documents.
- Payment information. If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card number; we retain only a customer/subscription identifier and your plan status.
- Usage and device data. Limited analytics about how the Service is used (e.g., timing of inventory steps), and technical error logs, to operate and improve the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Service and your vault.
- To run AI recognition on the room and item photos you submit, in order to build and value your inventory.
- To process subscriptions and send service-related and coaching emails (which you can unsubscribe from).
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
3. AI Processing
To build your inventory, photos you submit are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for analysis. This processing is used solely to identify and describe the items in your home for your vault. We do not use your individual photos or vault contents to advertise to you.
4. Service Providers
We share information only with vendors who help us run the Service, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. These include:
- Supabase — secure database, authentication, and encrypted file storage.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Anthropic — AI image analysis to build your inventory.
- Resend — transactional and coaching email delivery.
- Vercel — application and website hosting.
5. Aggregated & De-Identified Data
We may create aggregated and de-identified statistics from the Service — for example, anonymized trends about categories or types of household items. This information cannot reasonably be used to identify you or your household, and we may use or share it to improve the Service and develop insights. We do not sell your individual, personally identifiable data.
6. How We Protect Your Data
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, and per-account access controls that isolate each user's vault. The Service automatically locks after a period of inactivity. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. Your Choices & Rights
- Access & export. You can view and export your vault contents at any time within the app.
- Correction & deletion. You can edit or delete your items, photos, and account. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at the email below.
- Email preferences. You can unsubscribe from coaching emails using the link in any such email; you will still receive essential account notices.
- Regional rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as under the CCPA or GDPR) to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information. Contact us to exercise them.
8. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal content within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
