These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, mobile applications, and services of My Property Vault, LLC ("My Property Vault," "we," "us," or "our") (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
My Property Vault helps you document, organize, and value the contents and condition of your home, and generate reports for purposes such as insurance, estate planning, and asset division. Features and availability may change over time.
You retain all ownership of the content you add to your vault ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service — including sending photos to our AI provider to build your inventory, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the right to submit it.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) upload content that infringes others' rights or that you have no right to share; (c) attempt to access another user's vault or data; (d) interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service; or (e) use the Service to build a competing product.
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by My Property Vault and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated descriptions or values will be accurate or complete.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MY PROPERTY VAULT AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) US $100.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
